Dear friends and colleagues
The current crisis is a time for all of us to work together. At this point, we are encouraging NAs to do the following and you can help get word out:
- Pray - Ironically, Sept 12 is designated as the World Day of Prayer and Prayer vigils are already planned for many churches across the organizations
- Display the Flag as a symbol of solidarity in the face of this adversity
- Donate blood or offer to help with donor drives
- Listen to and provide support those families in yoru area or facility who have lost family members.
- Some NAs may be on emergency teams that may be on response crews. If others in your area have been called to the emergency site, you can help by picking up the slack for them and helping to buffer their usual jobs.
- Reassure your residents and their families that they are safe and you will be there to help them thought this traumatic event.
