Good to know, my experience with the six months was with Ivy Tech, Indianapolis when my daughter was taking the course. I was under the impression that it was a State requirement. I am located just east of Indianapolis. You are right to be wary of facilities paying outside the norm for your area....the grass always looks greener. Good luck in obtaining your RN degree.
