We have received several calls and emails concering computer testing for NAs and so I thought it might be a general concern.

I know of no state that will accept a test taken on computer and I do not know of any testing places that will do this. Each state has its own reguirements and testing service.

You can find a lot of info about testing on our web site at the top of the message board - just click on frequently asked questions. Also find your state in the list of State registries and call them - ask them if they will recognize a computer test - my guess is that they will say NO.

The two major testing companies are ASI and HeadMaster
ASI Home Page - http://www.asisvcs.com/home.html

D& S NA Testing - http://www.hdmaster.com/Company%20History.htm

These sites offer test questions - You can ask if they intend to do this but it is not happening right now. D and S NA Testing is doing more on computer testing, but at their sites. This is just being piloted and I do not know if any are in place yet.

I have heard from our network that someone is offering to test NAs with promises that this will be recognized by the State. Again, to my knowledge this would not be recognized by your state nor any other so ask good questions if you are approached in this way.

Best of luck
