I have noticed more of our residents being sent to the mental hospital than brought back to the nursing home-some did not come back-from what I have heard some did receive shock treatment. Before the residents left they were unmanageable and the nursing staff could not cope with the residents behavior. (It is very sad to see them in these states of mind.)
