The Federal OBRA 87 legisltation that mandated NA Training and testing never intended for NAs to pay for their own training. Below is info about how to find a training program but you also can find more info on this web site - go to buttons on the left - click on new NA FAQ then click on "how to find a training program."

You may even be able to get credit for some of the training you already have. but you will need to contact the State office for NAs in Maryland about this. Also go to their web site for more info. Their add is:
