abandonment issues

I have a question about abandonment that i was wondering about. What constitutes abandonment? If an NA walked out in the middle of their shift would that be abandonment (even if their are others working still)? Do you know anything about Arkansas laws? like... would the NA lose his certification... would he be able to get it back... would it be on somekind of record against him?
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR TIME
