Hi
I'm a CNA. I work in Tampa @ Tampa General Hospital. I don't really know much about the other hospitals or LTC. But I have been @ TGH for 18 yrs. 17 of them in the Trauma/Surg ICU. For the last yr I've been the CNA Educator. There are 6 hospitals right in town, a few in the smaller towns outside of Tampa and countless LTC places. The pay scale is not great but the the cost of living is low so it works out. You will have to contact the BON about your certification. Here is their info:
Dept of Hlth CNA Program
