The 27 annual National Nursing Assistants Week is June 10-17, 2004. The slogan is "Nursing Assistants: Specialist in the Art of Caring"

Each day of NAW focuses on a different aspect of the slogan and provides an array of projects and programs designed to begin during NAW and continue throughout the year for career growth, clinical skill building and effective team work on the job.

We also need NAs to be involved with two research projects current in process
1. Project to field test shoes that are ergonomically correct for caregivers
2. Project to examine ways that caregivers cope with tasks of care
