How in the world do you deal with a DENSE Nurse. I mean this woman is Dense as can be. I have worked for this facility that I am at for the past 15 years. This woman (LPN) has been there for about a year and cause's problems on top of problems, she creates them as fast as she can. Disrupts the entire shift with her dumb remarks. Example is: On Mondays we do only bed baths on those day's, well, last night was Tuesday, so this Nurse demanded that we get up Monday's Bedbath patients and our regular Tuesday Baths and shower them all, there's only 2 CNA's that work the hall that she is on, so in other words, 2 CNA's are taking care of 40 patients on 3/11, Total Bedfast Skilled Patients I may add at that, and here she's wanting you to get up 8 patients that you bedbathed last night not counting your regular 9 patients that are scheduled to do on that shift. There was no body oder to make her want you to bath these people over again, she just wanted to show herself. Well job or no job she was told that they were not going to be bathed all over again unless she wanted to get in there and bath them herself because we were already behind more than ever and there was no way that we would have time to get anyone extra up and shower them. She threatened to phone the DON and was then told that she could phone the Administrator is she wished because we were not doing it. All in All, I have been at the facility for the past 15 years but now I am looking into another job. Can't bare the stress with this woman another day. Thanks for letting me vent. [email protected] |
