Most states will recognize your NY NA approval however, you have to request RECIPROCITY.
Go to the top of this page - click on Reciprocity - You will need to find the NY State office phone number and address and also any state you are considering moving to - you will need info from both. You will find more info about how to request reciprocity in that link as well.

Many states also have web sites and you may want to check out the individual states web sites as well.
