Indiana CNAs

The Indiana website is so out of date. It really did not provide information at all. Of course that is Indiana's fault. I found only one Nursing Home in my area that teaches a class (this is after making many phone calls.) But they only will train people who are on Welfare because that is who their grants are for. So then I called all the schools and found one for only High School students. So then I began to search outside my county. Found one 4 hours away in a month which is affordable but with gas so expensive and it being so far away I don't think I can do that one. Found another one 2 hours away that will be offered late summer if enough people sign up. So I am applying to that one. Tons of tests and money to get into it though. I was told pay would be 12 to 14 an hour which sounds like LPN pay not CNA pay in my area. They still have not decided where practicums might be- and suggested we set up our own sites. Any Indiana CNA's that could provide more info?
